Client:
Optima is a
Canadian leader in geomarketing and database marketing.
Challenge:
Optima's goal was to improve their contact management using Act as
platform and to build mailing lists for their direct marketing
campaigns.
Solution:
Since
Act was new to us, we decided to export its database. Using
Filemaker Pro, we then eliminated all doubles and irrelevant
contacts that were in Optima's database, assigned industry
verticals to each contact, replaced erroneous characters and
identified contacts with their title. The final step was to
build mailing lists according to Optima's criterias and
integrate the new database into Act.
