Optima is a
leading Canadian geomarketing firm renowned for its market
segmentation and market analysis services.
Challenge:
In
order to improve their online visibility, Optima wanted to
improve their website ranking and keyword efficiency.
Solution:
Optima already had a website and their budget was limited for
this particular website ranking project so we could only optimize a few pages.
The first step
was to analyze Optima's website and determine the weak aspects
of it. Then, we made a list of keywords that were related to
the activities and expertise of the company. After doing so,
we analyzed those keywords using
WordTracker in order to
target the right niche because we knew we couldn't compete with
the popularity of bigger companies with a website ranking
strategy aiming at targeting words such as
"marketing".
Finally, we
optimized the website pages with selected keywords and
submitted the url to major search engines and directories.
As a result,
the Optima website traffic increased fourfold over the first
year and we greatly improved visitors' retention using more
relevant keywords. Optima was very pleased with itas new
